Hi, I’m Jes Davies

I am a licensed acupuncturist and intuitive coach whose work lives at the intersection of body, mind, and spirit.

I have a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and bring over two decades of clinical experience to my practice — along with deep training in herbal medicine, food as medicine, Intuition Medicine®, Positive Psychology, mindfulness and bodywork.

My approach is rooted in the Taoist understanding that healing happens when we move with — not against — the natural process of change that is mapped out by The Five Elements and observed in nature.

We are all a part of nature.

I meet you where you are, and encourage lifestyle changes to help you feel stronger on your path.

Nice to meet you!

My practice

I have a particular love for supporting women in peri-menopause and midlife — those navigating the tender, complex terrain of transition. I know firsthand that this season calls for more than symptom management. It asks for a new relationship with your body, your intuition, and what comes next.

"True Health is our ability to live our dreams."

I also work with teens, tweens, and anyone dealing with stress, anxiety, insomnia, chronic pain, headaches, high blood pressure, or ADD/ADHD — always through the lens of the whole person, not just the presenting complaint.

I’ve added in coaching, energy healing, and astro-counseling as I realized we all feel better when we learn to work with our mindset and energy consciously.

These sessions support self-awareness and discovery providing a space where feelings are valid and we remember to choose the energy we show up with and cultivate.

My story

It started with chronic migraines. In the ‘90s, in Michigan, I found my way to an acupuncture table — and something big shifted. Not just the pain, but my whole sense of what healing could feel like. Grounded. Whole. Possible.

That experience led me to California, where I earned my Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2004 and spent the next two decades building a practice — and a life — rooted in this work. After 25 years in California and North Carolina, I came back home to Michigan in 2024, and I bring this full-circle perspective to every session and my perspective on healing as wholeness.

You'll find me seeing acupuncture clients in Farmington and Grosse Pointe, hosting women's circles and Yin & Pin events (acupuncture + yoga) around SE Michigan.

I share elemental musings on my podcast and Substack, Avocado Moon along with virtual energy healing, coaching, and astro-counseling sessions.

I’m a lover of plants and stars, astrology and story — and I take tech breaks often, to be outside or to play my favorite role as Auntie Jes.
